Myself, I lost interest after about 2 times through it. The 3rd time through it was just to see the special ending. I mean, it's pretty linear. But the story is cool enough and the alignments are different enough for at least 2 playthroughs.

Actually I wrote up a review for it some time ago:

Well I finished the game and I enjoyed it greatly. I am so curious as to how different the experience would have been had I not found the purple rune. The ability to be invisible certainly makes things somewhat easier. I also found the guardian you fight in the hall much tougher than the end boss. I beat the end boss without getting hit more than once.

Guardian in the hall... doesn't ring a bell. Do you mean the first of two bosses (the 2nd being the end boss)? The big huge thing that feeds itself and that's the only time you can hit it?

The game can definitely get easy. As I recall, I played first as whichever alignment is dominated by Red (physical strength), so that was probably the toughest way to play one's first game. Regardless, it was pretty easy.

What really struck me about this game was the atmosphere, plus the story. The two temples were okay, but the church and the mansion (including the little surprise under it) were mind-bogglingly awesome. Just amazing stuff. Can't wait to see what they do with Too Human (maybe will give me a reason to play 360 rather than it collecting dust).

It's amazing how nobody knows about this game. For shame.

Oh, and supposedly there will be a sequel to Eternal Darkness!

I did power through the past month and through the beginning of February with Blue Dragon for the 360. Took me about 66 hours to get through the game.

I am now working on Fahrenheit for the PC and No more Heros for the Wii.

SO I finished No More Heroes, which I loved, but stalled yet again on Fahrenheit. I really need to finish that game one of these days. I plowed through the first disc of Lost Oddyssey and then got my new PC the next day. Since then it has been about 98% PC gaming for me.

I am working right now on Halo 2, Hellgate: London, Neverwinter Nights 2 and Warhammer 40k Dawn of War.

I salute you at stalling on Fahrenheit. To stall on a game that can be finished within the day is quite a feat!

I finished Prince of Persia Classic on Xbox 360 this week. Had had the game for a while, but I sucked at the combat. Once I got the hang of it I could actually finish it. End boss Jafar was annoying!
May the Yods be silent

No More Heroes is a fantastic game. Loved practically everything about it. Currently, I'm playing NWN2 and Brawl will remain in my Wii's disc drive forever.

As far as beating games years later, I have a couple. Bloodlines (awesome), No One Lives Forever (awesome) and its sequel (not so awesome).

Okay months and months later, but last year I finally played through Fahrenheit in a 2 day span. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit.

Having said that, i did finally finish all of Fallout 3, which I have had since it was released and just never got around to. That leaves me still with the following major games to finish that continue to collect dust:

1. Metal Gear Solid 3
2. Metal Gear Solid 4
3. Resistance 2
4. Killzone 2
5. Infinite Undiscovery
6. Star Ocean for 360 - on disc 3
7. Tales of Vesperia
8. The Witcher
9. The Longest Journey - very sad that I have yet to finish
10. Ico
11. Shadow of the Colossus
12. Onimusha 1-3
13. the Lost Odyssey
14. Ninja Gaiden - xbox version
15. Resident Evil 4

After 3 different starts and stops, I buckled down and finished the Witcher: Enhanced edition yesterday afternoon. Took me close to 40 hours of gameplay and a ton of deaths, but I am finished. I totally loved the game and the choices it offered me. This was far less about picking the good or evil path, it was trying to choose the path you think will have the best impact. There were really no good or bad decisions, simply decisions that offered consequences. Bioware could take a note here, especially in reference to how layered the story is and how it all comes together to offer up a rather epic journey. It did get easier to play once you make it into the 4th chapter and start leaning how to be a bad ass. I cannot wait for the Witcher 2.
