Take Two has released a new patch for "Civilization IV", bringing the popular turn-based strategy sequel by Firaxis up to version 1.52.
The ~45MB patch can be downloaded from
3dgamers,
Gamer's Hell,
FileFront,
FileShack,
FileNuts,
VGPro, or
Worthplaying.
"v1.52 is a major upgrade to Civ IV and includes numerous optimizations for memory usage that should help performance on all machines but are tailored to especially improve performance on machines at or near the minimum specification.
Note: This patch is for all versions of Civilization IV with the exception of the Direct2Drive version."
