The official sequel "Beyond Divinity", "Divinity II -- Ego Draconis" was shown off at GC '08 with in-game footage shown for the first time. Displaying a brand new graphics engine, "Divinity II -- Ego Draconis" is rendered full 3-D world and it looks great from what was shown. The trailer displays idyllic environments as well as chaotic ones, with plenty of combat in-between. We also get a taste of the Dragon Slayer's transformation sequence and a tidbit of aerial combat. "Divinity II -- Ego Draconis" is planned for a 2009 release.
