Vivendi Universal Games has
announced that "F.E.A.R." has been shipped and will be in stores starting tomorrow.
"“Consumers around the world will be able to get their copies of
F.E.A.R. at the same time – October 18th,” said Philip W. O’Neil, Chief
Operating Officer and President of North America for Vivendi Universal
Games. “The great feedback that F.E.A.R. has received in the media has
helped create a huge demand, one that can be satisfied tomorrow.”
Developed by Monolith Productions, F.E.A.R. is an intense first-person
close-quarters combat experience with rich atmosphere and an engaging,
paranormal horror storyline. Already named ‘Best Action Game of E3
2005’ by the E3 Critics, F.E.A.R. has been called ‘Vivendi’s
classic-in-the-making’ and ‘the PC’s top shooter’ by PC Gamer
(September 2005) who also gave the title 92% and the ‘Editors Choice’
award. F.E.A.R has also received ‘Editors Choice’ awards from
GameSpot.com (9.1 out of 10) and IGN.com (9.2 out of 10)."
