Just before Day of Defeat: Source's release, which is scheduled for
September 26, Valve has announced that North-American shipping has
begun of the Half-Life 2 Game of the Year edition. The special edition,
obviously meant for those who missed out on last year's
excellent shooter,
contains Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source as well as Half-Life 2
Deathmatch and Half-Life: Source, a port of the original Half-Life to
the Source engine. No Steam-delivered GotY version has been announced.

physical gameplay, Half-Life® 2 has been called the greatest game ever
made and earned over 35 Game of the Year Awards."
