Square Enix today announced Deus Ex: Human Revolution – The Missing Link, an upcoming DLC pack that will be released in October.

Rockstar Games today announced that Max Payne 3 is scheduled to release in March of next year for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Merge Games today released the second of six player tutorials for Nuclear Dawn. The game is currently in closed beta, which is available to customers who have pre-ordered the game, and is scheduled to be released on September 25th.

Vogster today announced the addition of three new servers, which includes two in Europe, to meet the increasing worldwide demand for CrimeCraft.

"The server expansion came about after a successful launch on the Steam Free to Play portal brought tens of thousands of new gamers to Sunrise City on a daily basis.

“Meeting the overwhelming demand from the Steam users was a welcome challenge for us,” said VP of Development, Daniel Prousline.  “Our team had new servers online as quickly as possible, while our dedicated community helped us with the influx of new players.  We’re really proud to see CrimeCraft hit the top echelon of Steam products in terms of online population.”

In addition to the new servers, Vogster has added more GMs, AFK kick and login queues.

We didn't find an official announcement of the Dead Island release but it was released yesterday. That said, there have been some initial hiccups. The version of the game released on Steam yesterday was the wrong version and there are apparently plenty of bugs. These issues have now been addressed with a patch and the correct version on Steam.

"We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused to fans who wanted to spend their day crushing some zombie skulls. Thank you very much for your continued patience and support and we are completely committed to ensuring that you have an excellent time with our game.

• First, the correct version of the title is now available on Steam and fans are able to download it now.
• Second, the day 1 patch notes in their entirety are below. Please note that this update may cause incompatibilities between the incorrect version of Dead Island that was released and the fixed version and cause a wipe on some saved data. However, we have a solution to help regain some quest progress: When the game opens, select New Game -> Select the same character as you were using before, and then there will be an option for "Chapter Select" which will allow the player to jump to the last chapter they were playing in.
• Third, Deep Silver plans to announce a “make up” to North American fans who were affected by the day 1 PC issues, stay tuned in coming days for those details as internal discussions are ongoing on our end.
• Fourth, the Bloodbath DLC is still on schedule as planned – fans who preordered the title will still receive the Bloodbath DLC when it launches (date will be announced shortly!) as stated previously.
• Fifth, we are aware of The Ripper activation bug which will not load as a result of the version update and this will be fixed in the next game patch, coming soon."

Valve today announced the launch of Steam Trading, which allows gamers to exchange in-game items and game gifts. The new feature had been in beta for the past few weeks.

"The Steam Trading beta began with Team Fortress 2 items and game gifts. Today Spiral Knights, the cooperative adventure from Three Rings and Sega, and Portal 2 join the Steam economy as Steam Trading becomes available to everyone.

"The addition of Steam Trading is the latest example of how Steam continues to evolve with new features and functions developed based upon feedback," said Jason Holtman, director of business development. "We look forward to seeing how gamers and developers have fun and move this functionality forward."

During the four week beta, over 1 million items and game gifts were traded. Support for Steam Trading has been added to the Steamworks SDK.

Electronic Arts today announced the release of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters for the PC and Mac, which is a first for the franchise. The game is available though Origin and other retailers.

Funcom today announced that beta registrations for The Secret World have begun.

Square Enix and Obsidian Entertainment today announced the first DLC pack for Dungeon Siege III, which will be titled Treasures of the Sun. An October release is currently planned for the pack and it will be set at a price of $9.99.

"In DUNGEON SIEGE III: TREASURES OF THE SUN, players will extend their journey and travel beyond the borders of Ehb to an all-new environment: the Aranoi Desert. On their search for a lost Legion hero, players will fight through hordes of new villains only to find a forgotten abbey hiding a long-lost secret: the greatest treasure of the Azunite faith.

Hothead Games today announced the release of The Baconing, an action role-playing game, on all platforms.
