We've posted some things in the past and have done some crazy theme updates but we're just going to link to the funny stuff this time around. The following list is a round-up of gaming related pranks that have appeared. If you know of more post a comment.

Paradox Interactive and Arrowhead Game Studios today announced that "Magicka: Vietnam" will be released on April 12 through all major digital distribution channels for $4.99.

"Have you ever wondered what it would have been like if wizards were allowed to roam the jungles of war-torn Vietnam, attempting to bring peace and stability to the region by casting spells on all opponents?

Magicka: Vietnam features a lengthy challenge scenario that puts you in the combat boots and stylish robe of a Wizard GI. Venture deep into the Goblin-Cong jungle with up to three fellow soldiers in a heroic attempt to liberate prisoners from a POW camp and face off against deadly Vietnam themed enemies. Destroy enemy positions, escape the perils of the jungle and return safely to the evacuation helicopter (“Get to the chopper!!”).

Magicka: Vietnam also contains a new survival challenge map with increased difficulty in direct response to the request from the community. In the Magickal jungles of Vietnam you'll have an array of Vietnam-era weapons and a special Magick that calls in a napalm strike on enemy positions. Players will of course still have access to what makes Magicka truly unique – the dynamic spell casting system and a healthy dose of humour."

The game is developed by Day 1 Studios, developer of the original F.E.A.R. console games in collaboration with Monolith Studios."

Wondering about the status of "Max Payne 3"? It's been a long time since any news has come out about the title and some people may have even forgotten about it. A new tweet by Rockstar games states "He's Coming" and offers two new screenshots.

"The award-winning Max Payne franchise put players in the role of Max Payne, a hard-boiled New York City detective with a penchant for violence, out to avenge the death of his family. "Take a BOW, TF2 community — because that is an incredible, frankly astounding, amount of money from a dedicated number of gamers, to one heck of a lot of people in some real need right now. Anytime someone gives you guff about something negative in gaming, you go ahead and point them to this post, because here's some late-breaking damn news: they are wrong and gamers are generous and awesome.

Thanks again, and don't forget, these items are available until April 6."

Bethesda Softworks today announced that Del Rey Books will be publishing a novel based on "RAGE", which is being written by Matt Costello. The novel will also be titled "RAGE" and is scheduled to be released on August 30.

"Set in the not-too-distant future after an asteroid impacts Earth, you emerge into a vast wasteland to discover humanity working to rebuild itself against such forces as bandit gangs, mutants, and more.

The novel delves even deeper into this world and its characters through the pen of Matt Costello–the same person who helped write the story for the game. The world was doomed and only some of the population could be saved. That was what the scientists were saying, at least. So the best and brightest were gathered and put into stasis deep beneath the surface of the Earth–buried so that man could live.

When Lt. Nick Raine emerges from his Ark, he finds the human race has not been wiped out. And people, as resilient as they are, are scraping together a new world from the rubble of the old.  This was not what anyone in the Arks expected–a new society where might is right, mutants plague the Earth, and “friend” is a term for the person who hasn't stabbed you in the back. "
