Focus Home Interactive today announced "The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes", a new installment in the adventure series by Frogwares.

"The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes will immerse gamers in 1898 London as they conduct an incredible investigation. All the evidence suggests our hero is the main suspect in a case involving theft, fraud and double-crossings. Unable to prove his own innocence, Holmes is rapidly losing London's trust as doubt spreads through the city like wildfire. Even Doctor Watson's faith in his friend begins to waver, as the famous detective flees Scotland Yard and raises further suspicion; prowling around at night, destruction of evidence… would Holmes go so far as to commit murder?

The complex and decidedly-mature storyline surrounds a particularly tricky investigation, in which each and every puzzle will challenge both insight and wits! As Sherlock Holmes, players will use the detective's full repertoire: handle and inspect clues, reenact crimes and use the game's new deduction system to draw your own conclusions. Choose your questioning approach to catch characters off guard and gather valuable information. Players are facing an open investigation, and must decide which leads to follow and which to ignore.

You are Sherlock Holmes, and this is your investigation. Live a thrilling adventure and foil an incredible conspiracy! The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Testament of Sherlock is coming soon to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC fall 2011."

Focus Home Interactive today announced "A Game of Thrones: Genesis", a new upcoming strategy game by Cyanide Studios that's scheduled to be released this summer.

"Thanks to a well-developed single player campaign written under supervision of the author George R.R. Martin, "A Game of Thrones – Genesis" immerses you into the heart of the battles and intrigues between the Houses that shaped the Kingdom of Westeros. Live the origins of the A Song of Ice and Fire saga through more than 1000 years of History, and take part in Westeros' founding events and largest battles such as Aegon the Conqueror's invasion on the continent or the War of the Usurper.

In this great strategy game, victory does not necessarily result from brute force. You can choose to use a military approach and besiege your opponents, strangle them in an economical war, or even use dirty tricks and diplomacy to politically crush them. Treachery and deception are everywhere, so watch your back and prepare for battle!"

Paradox Interactive today released a new "Cities in Motion" video interview with Mariina Hallikainen, CEO of Colossal Order.

"In the five and half minute video, Hallikainen describes some of the key features and gameplay elements that the development team has implemented in to the game including an underground view for the metro system, a first for a transport simulator. Another area that she says the team has worked hard on is the AI of the citizens that populate the four cities in Cities in Motion. All of them are individuals with names, a job, a place to live and they all have preferences on where they want to travel such as the golf course at the weekend, or going to the stadium to watch the match. The trick for the player is to get to know your citizens to see where they are going and to build your transportation system accordingly."
